Genting Highlands, 27 January 2026 marked a truly meaningful milestone for Mohd Chan Group as we were honoured to welcome His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, to the Royal Compassion Programme with Orphans and the Needy, held in conjunction with the Grand Opening of Mohd Chan Restaurant @ Genting Permai.
His Royal Highness arrived at 3.30 p.m. and was warmly received by Datuk Wira Mustafa Chan, Chief Executive Officer of Mohd Chan Group, together with Dato’ Amizar bin Abu Adam, Chairman of the Pahang State Committee for FELDA Affairs, Cooperatives and Entrepreneurs, who represented the Honourable Menteri Besar of Pahang.
The programme was filled with warmth and heartfelt moments as His Royal Highness spent time celebrating with 60 students comprising orphans from several care centres around the Bentong district. The presence of His Royal Highness brought joy, encouragement, and a strong sense of togetherness, making the occasion deeply meaningful for everyone involved.
Adding to the significance of the event, His Royal Highness also graciously witnessed the presentation of the ASEAN Records award to Mohd Chan, recognising the brand’s achievements and contributions within the region. The moment marked a proud milestone for Mohd Chan Group and reaffirmed its commitment to excellence and community engagement.
One of the key highlights of the day was the official launch of the Mohd Chan Charity Van, graciously officiated by His Royal Highness. This initiative symbolises Mohd Chan Group’s ongoing commitment to charitable work and community service, reflecting our belief in giving back and supporting those in need.
