BANGI, 10 June 2026 – Mohd Chan Restaurant was honoured to serve as the host venue for the Majlis Simbolik Serahan Sumbangan Kepada Asnaf Mualaf, a meaningful initiative held through the collaboration of Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ-MAIWP) and Dana Asy-Syakirin 2.
The ceremony marked a significant effort in supporting the welfare and development of the Muslim convert community, with a total contribution of RM105,000 distributed to 105 asnaf mualaf beneficiaries. The symbolic presentation represented not only financial assistance but also a commitment to empowering recipients as they continue their journey of growth and integration within the Muslim community.
The event brought together representatives from PPZ-MAIWP, Dana Asy-Syakirin 2, community leaders, invited guests and beneficiaries in an atmosphere filled with gratitude, compassion, and unity. Through this collaboration, the organisers aimed to ease the financial burden faced by eligible recipients while reinforcing the importance of collective responsibility in supporting those in need.
